Niké, Gaia, Damaris, Phaedra or Rhea

My husband has Greek roots, so we'd really like to give our soon-to-be-born daughter a (originally) Greek name. Which ones do you think are beautiful and common enough in the Netherlands? Thanks, Jorgos and Wieke.

Name pronunciations:
Nikè = Nie-keh
Gaia = Khai-ja (hard to spell phonetically)
Damaris = Daa-maa-ris
Phaedra = Fee-draa
Rhea = Ree-aa

    In your poll it says Niké, and in the list above it's Nik e. I wouldn't choose it for that reason, unclear in spelling and also in pronunciation.

    Gaia, Damaris and Phaedra can all work well in NL I think, buuuut I think Rhea is by far the most beautiful name. I think it's gorgeous!

    I’d go for Niké. But only with that spelling, so with the é! Pronounced Nikee. Otherwise, I don’t think it looks nice, but in this way, I think it’s the most beautiful name on your list! I don’t find the other names so pretty. But of course, it’s your choice!

    Nike and Rhea are both beautiful names.

    Rhea, I think that's the most beautiful and quite timeless. Plus, it fits well with modern names and is the only one besides Damaris that's easy in Dutch.

    I’d also go for Rhea. I just don’t think Damaris and Phaedra are that beautiful. Gaia is fine too, but Chaja is more beautiful. I only know Nikè as Niké (Nie-kee), so that might cause some confusion. Rhea is beautiful!

    Hi everyone! Our little girl has been born! We are so happy.
    Her name is: Rhea Athena Nikolaou, nickname Rhea. She is Leon's little sister.
    Thanks!
