ovulation tests, I'm going crazy

Hi future moms,

I had a miscarriage in February at 9 weeks. Now trying again. My period started on April 11. I started testing with ovulation tests from cycle day 10, but couldn't find a peak. Now it's cycle day 20. I do see clear second lines on the tests every day, but no peak. I've attached the tests from last night. The lines have been this clear for a week now, but still no peak.

I can't be pregnant yet, because that would mean I ovulated extremely early, which seems very unlikely. Does anyone have an idea why the ovulation tests show such dark lines without showing a peak? Before, I could always find my peak well; the test line was always much darker than the control line, by day 17 at the latest...

It's making me feel insecure!

    Hi Houtje2009.
I don’t know much about ovulation tests myself, but I can tell you that if you have a longer cycle, your ovulation will also happen later.
I sometimes had cycles of 38-40 days, and then the most fertile day was only around day 24-26.
So it’s possible that your ovulation hasn’t happened yet because you have a very long cycle this month.
Wishing you lots of success in getting pregnant!

Thanks for your reply! I'm not used to having such a long cycle... And I'm not used to seeing clear second lines on the ovulation tests throughout the whole cycle either... Maybe it's because my body is a bit off balance after the miscarriage. I notice that it makes me feel insecure because I've lost a bit of trust in my body after the miscarriage...
Hopefully I'll see a positive test soon...
