Expecting a girl and I think Bliss is a nice, cool name. My husband is hesitant though, he thinks it's a bit too unusual. What do you all think?

    I think Liz(z) is prettier. Bliss doesn't have an ugly sound or anything, but it makes me think of a horse.

    I have to honestly admit that it reminded me of our brand new Babyliss hair clipper. I think because there are a lot of B's in it

    I immediately think of a Muse song. And even though I think they're a great band, I just don't think it's a beautiful name for a baby. But well, that's just my opinion.
    You have to choose what you both want.

    Joy I find a lot nicer than Bliss. Not exactly my taste, but a very common name.
    Other options for you:
    Joya (pronounced Djoya), June, Mae, Liv, Liz, Billie, Charley, Moiza, Moise, Ivy, Jools

    Pretty good, it's just an existing name that won't sound weird. Better than Bliss.

    It's hard for me to say, but I don't think Joy is that beautiful either.
    But it's definitely doable (compared to Bliss). So if you find it beautiful, definitely go for it!

    I think Joy is much prettier!
