Period after curettage

Hello  ladies,

I have a question about Asherman's syndrome.

After my curettage 11 months ago, I hardly got my period anymore.
I still lose red blood but much less and for a shorter time than before.

The symptoms seem to match Asherman's; the only thing that doesn't match at all is my endometrial thickness.
It was 8mm on the day of ovulation.. I thought that was pretty good?

Now I know that any adhesions, no matter where, affect your endometrial thickness.
So my doctor also found that 8mm very strange because my symptoms do match Asherman's.

Could it be something else   that causes my period to have become much less ? 
You of course read a lot of  horror stories after a curettage but they didn't use a scraper (curette according to my doctor is often the culprit for Asherman's) but only a suction curettage so that risk is very minimal. 

Ladies with experience with the same symptoms?
