Could these be the first symptoms? (No experience with this.)

Hi ladies

On March 28th, I had a super strong positive ovulation test. That evening and the following Monday, we had some cozy time together. I'm now at 9dpo.

I'm currently experiencing sharp pains in my left groin and occasionally in my right... sharp pains in my pubic area, and cramps in my lower abdomen. Last night, I really felt discomfort in my lower back.

As much as I know these symptoms don't necessarily mean anything, could it be possible? Does anyone have experience with this?

    You actually already gave yourself the answer in the last sentence
    It could be, but it could also be your upcoming period.
    I was trying for a year and felt something every month. And was often disappointed.
    I’m rooting for you that it’s a hit!

    @Ilona

    That's right, same symptoms here. Never had them before. We'll see.

    Thank you so much, ladies. I'll wait and see. I was wondering if there are any ladies with the same symptoms who ended up being pregnant.

    Unfortunately, I can relate to both, mama30. I know girls from the NOD groups who had these 'symptoms'. One ended up miscarrying, the other was pregnant. I'm rooting for you for the latter...
    I hope for good news for you, bianca.

    Where and what kind of pain do you feel in the pubic area?
  6. Mama30 started this #7

    Hi @anoniem

    It's right at the bottom of my lower abdomen, exactly below it in the middle if you follow my explanation... sometimes it comes with sharp twinges in my groin... they're those little twinges I feel in my lower abdomen, kind of like mild cramps.

    I'm experiencing this too. It was even quite noticeable when I stretched (sharp pain in the lower right abdomen). My cycle is very irregular, but I'm now on day 8 past ovulation. We'll have to wait and see!

    Yeah, wait and see. It's especially weird if you've never experienced it before. I'm at 10dpo now and not really having many twinges anymore, just the occasional one. Still have a nagging lower belly feeling though. Wait and see.

    @mama30,

    that nagging feeling in your belly is so relatable. I’m rooting for you!!

    Exciting! I can still remember those sharp pains under my pubic bone when I was pregnant with my daughter. And lots of white discharge and sensitive nipples!

    Yes, it's really quite exciting, ladies. Especially because it's quite recognizable and I ended up pregnant after all. I hope so too. The white discharge and sore nipples are manageable, but with the first one, I didn't have those either; that came later. Now it's more like a heavier, nagging feeling in my lower abdomen and occasional sharp twinges. We'll just wait and see.

    Keep me posted!! When is your due date approximately?
  13. Mama30 started this #14

    It'll be fine!

    I'm thinking Friday or Saturday. I've had some cycles where there were 7 or 8 weeks in between, but now I just had a strong period on CD 15, so I'm thinking Friday or Saturday, yes.. quite exciting. I also don't have any tests at home yet, so I can't test just yet. That means I can wait until my period starts.

    Usually Monday or Tuesday here... Exciting

    Yes, really.... keep me posted?

    I will!! X

    I completely agree with Ilona.

    During the months I wasn't pregnant, I felt all sorts of things. Now that I'm pregnant, I felt absolutely nothing, only after my scan did I feel like I was about to get my period. It's gone again now

    @zusss

    For me, at first it was more pricks in my groin, but now it's only occasional. I also sometimes feel a bit of pressure in my lower belly and some naggy cramps. With the first one, I didn't have any discomfort at all, and I don't really recognize these symptoms as PMS, but it could be. We'll see.

    Besides the Braxton Hicks contractions and little cramps, I also have really gurgly bowels and need to pee more often. I really go to the toilet a lot, especially in the evening and morning I've noticed. And something very weird; my labia look a bit purple? My due date is Friday, sooooo exciting!
