Positive ovulation test after ovulation?

Hi there,

I have a question about ovulation. Normally, I always have a regular cycle of 27/28 days and ovulate around day 14.
In the past few weeks, I had sex about 3 days before my expected ovulation without using ovulation tests, because my cycle had been consistent for 3 months.
Today (day 19) I took an ovulation test and my LH peak suddenly turned out to be very strong. Whereas in previous months, my ovulation always occurred around day 14.
What does this mean? Does that mean my ovulation is later this month? Also, I haven't noticed any changes in my discharge.

Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance and love, Soes!

If your test is positive, your egg usually follows within 24-36 hours. I often have fertile discharge right before ovulation, maybe it's different for you? I wouldn't know why it would be positive four days later. Why did you decide to take a test now anyway?
