We got this test this afternoon. So happy, but it still feels unreal.

    Hi ann1990, that's so sweet, thank you! I'm from the Netherlands and this is my second baby. My first pregnancy lasted 7 months, and now with my second, I got a positive test just 4 months after having the Implanon removed. The Implanon came out in September. So it was pretty quick. My son was born prematurely at 31 weeks because I had pregnancy-induced hypertension and weighed 1450 grams. I really hope I don't have to go through that again. My son is now 2 years and 4 months old.

    Hi Mila, thank you! I've been having waves of nausea, luckily no vomiting though, and I'm really, really tired. My stomach is also rumbling a lot. We didn't really have a plan, but what did stand out is that this month we had some worries about our son who was hospitalized, so we were less focused on trying than in previous months when it finally worked. I really think that if you're too focused on it, it can work against you. We barely had any intimacy this month, maybe twice.

    Mila, yeah, I think so. I'm further along than we thought; we have our first ultrasound next Tuesday.

    Hi bosje, yes, I think we were in a small group together.
    I just had my 20-week ultrasound today, so the second scan, I'm on cloud nine!

    But hospital admission for your little boy... is everything okay with your little boy??

    Flowers1990, what a fantastic thing, right? Those ultrasounds! I find them so wonderfully beautiful to see your little one like that????
    My son was born prematurely and currently his growth is still lagging behind, which is why he gets nutrition through a pump and a tube in his nose at night. He seems to tolerate it well. In my opinion, he's also starting to gain some weight.
    It will still be a while before he can go home, but seeing him recover is the most important thing.

    Yes, those little ones really are your whole world, right? You'd rather give them what they want than have it yourself.
    Glad to hear things are going in the right direction!
    Bosje, yes, it's incredibly beautiful. I hope you get such beautiful echoes over time too! And that your little boy gets completely better!
