Getting pregnant with vaginismus

LiesGuest ·
Hi ladies, my fiancé and I really want to have our first baby in 2020. We’ve been together for four years now and it feels like the right time. I’m having a bit of a problem though, as sex isn’t easy for us unfortunately (due to my vaginismus). So we’ll probably end up going through the medical route, but we’d like to hold off on that for now. Does anyone have tips/advice or maybe others going through the same thing? It can really get to you when you’re eager to try but something like this is holding you back...

I know a couple who ended up doing IUI because of that. It was the first round that worked, and what’s even better, she had no complaints after giving birth. Hopefully, you’ll get lots of tips!

There are also ladies on this forum who do/did self-insemination to get pregnant. Maybe that's an option for you to look into a bit more? I think there's also a whole thread about it. I don't know if it's still active. There are girls in there who do self-insemination for all sorts of different reasons.
