Ladies,
We just can't decide whether to name our baby Siem or Simon.
What do you think? And also let me know if you're from Belgium or the Netherlands?

I'm from the Netherlands and I'd go with Simon; I think Siem is too short.

I think they're both beautiful! Which one fits best with your last name? And do you prefer a short name or something longer? Simon is probably sometimes shortened to Siem anyway?

I'm from the Netherlands. I think both are fine, but Siem is nicer. Simon feels a bit 'well-behaved' to me, and Siem feels a bit more cool.

I think Siem is just a bit cuter!
And of course, Simon can always be shortened to Siem.

Forgot to mention, but I'm also from the Netherlands (see my message above).

    Siem!! So lovely!!!
    Would never choose Simon.

I'd go for Simon... because it's quickly enough abbreviated to Siem.

Netherlands: I'd go for Simon. I think Siem is a bit old-fashioned. But you should do what feels the most beautiful to you, of course, what fits best with the last name.

    Simon! Netherlands!

    Netherlands: Siem

    I like Simon better! Netherlands

    Belgium.

I'd go for Sim! Siem sounds so whiny and long, and Simon is just ordinary.

Simon is definitely a nice name.
Siem sounds like an abbreviation to me.

    Siem! Super cool

  16. Susanna #17
