We were looking for a (French) girl's name with a beautiful sound. Can you all pick one from this list? And do you have any ideas for middle names? Love, Sarah and Nils.

I voted for Amée, but I think it's even prettier as Amé.
Zélie is also okay, but I don't find the rest pretty.

I find most of them not beautiful or really not beautiful.
I do find French names beautiful, but more like the following: Amélie, Alix, Ella, Julie, Elaine, Emilie.
Amée is the most lovely, although I would write it as Amé.

As a second name for Amée:
Charlotte, Philine, Isabel(le), Eleonor, Josefin, Jolie, Fabiënne, Annabel.

    I like Zélie the most.
    Zélie Feline
    Zelie Bodil
    Zélie Danel
    Zélie Odile

I think Maelys is a complicated name. The rest are easier, and therefore also more beautiful. Zélie and Amée are the most beautiful. Maybe Maxime could be a nice second name? Or Rhode after Zélie? And Julot after Amée?

Amée Julot does indeed look really nice!

Zélie or Maëlys because those are also on the list
Avélie I think is quite nice! It sounds a lot like one of the names we'd want to give if we ever had another daughter.
Celöe doesn't do anything for me. It reminds me of the plant aloe vera.
Amée I'd write the way it's supposed to be: Aimée.

Ameé and Aimée are two different names. Aimée is pronounced as emmee.

Thanks for all the opinions. They are indeed quite special names. We live in Wallonia, where you hear them a bit more often. But we're from the Netherlands and will be going back soon, so we need to take that into account. Our girl will be born here though! Amée seems to be the most popular, I see. I think it's beautiful too. Amé looks a bit unfinished to me, hence the extra e, just like with Esmee or Romee. By the way, it's really pronounced 'Aa-mee', not 'Eh-mee'.
Julot is a nice second name. We also thought Maxime was beautiful and maybe we'll choose one of these names as a second name.
