Will it work out after all, or am I just kidding myself?

Good afternoon ladies

I have a question. I know you're not clairvoyant, but I'm really curious about your experiences.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend around my ovulation (we were aware it could happen and were okay with that if it resulted in a pregnancy).
I always get breast tenderness, some stomach pain, and aching back pain 1-2 days before my period.
Today or tomorrow I should be getting my period, but I'm experiencing the following symptoms:
- My breasts are more sensitive than usual, especially on the sides, and I have more visible blue veins than normal.
- Nauseous, hangover feeling, and gagging.
- So tired, so tired, so tired.
- PMS mood swings and lethargy.
- Period-like stomach pain, but slightly different, mostly sharp twinges.

I've noticed these symptoms for about 5 days now, especially the nausea—it feels like I have a hangover or something, just a really awful feeling.
What were your symptoms right before your period?
I plan to test this weekend if I haven't gotten my period yet, because I'm really doubting myself and I'm afraid I'm going to drive myself crazy.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it could also be period symptoms. Always annoying, right!! Here it's irregular and I noticed my breasts were very sore and weird for a long time.. And yeah, tired, tired, tired, tired, tired... Anyway, I'm not sure when my ovulation was, so I don't know when it started either..

    Yeah, it's really tricky..
I've never been nauseous, so I thought that didn't make sense.. It could be the flu but I really never get it, the last one was probably 8 years ago haha but it could be that
We'll have to wait and see....
    So you're pregnant!? Congratulations
    Thanks for your reply

Well, if you really want to get pregnant, your body can easily play tricks on you.
The only way to be sure is, as you said, to test on the weekend.

I’ve felt everything every cycle, except when I was pregnant. Then nothing. I only got proper nausea at 5.5 weeks.

Exactly those symptoms, like you have the flu. I had that too...
Now I have a beautiful 3-week-old son in my arms so it's definitely possible.
    Just do a test quickly.

Wow, what symptoms! But different from before... mostly feeling flu-like and my long nails kept breaking. I had the same thing during my first pregnancy. Everyone has their own unique situation, I always say. The home test gives a better picture though... Kruidvat's 2-for-5 euro tests are pretty good. I'm curious!

    Good morning..
I'm really curious too right now... I'll wait a bit longer until the weekend, I'm afraid of disappointment or maybe a late ovulation, and I might still get my period at the end of the week!
    It's all so exciting!

That could very well be! Just test again in a few days.
That’s how it went with my previous pregnancy too.
We’re trying to get pregnant again, but it seems like I might be having two ovulations in one cycle.
I’m now on day 25, my cycle is 32 days long, and I’m seeing fertile mucus again.
And I had it last week too.
