Naming after Ari

Hi,
We'd like to name our baby 'Arie / Ari'. It has to be a short and snappy name, definitely not old-fashioned.

Do you have any nice ideas for a boy or girl?
For a boy, we've already thought of Ariën or Jari, but that's not quite it. For a girl, I can't think of anything beyond Ariane / Arianne. Thanks in advance!

    Boy: Aron or Jari as a middle name
    Girl: Mariëlle or also a middle name

    Boy: Aris, Jari, Zacharia, Zacharie.
    Or Aaron could be derived from the name Arie (or from Adriaan, but I don't think that's such a nice name for a baby).

    I think Aris is the prettiest for a boy.


    Girl: Sari, Ariël, Mariël, Amari, Ariane, Ariana, Amarins, Carice, Imari, Marit, Maribel, Marielin, Marilou, Marin, Marise, Sarina, Aira, Aria.
    Or Eira, which is Arie spelled backwards.

    For a girl, I prefer Amarins. I've found this name beautiful for a long time and it will also be a second or third name for our next baby.

    But isn't Ari itself an abbreviation of a longer (baptism) name? Then you might be able to more easily derive a name from that for naming purposes.

    I immediately think of Aris for a boy
    and Aria for a girl.
    I also think Ariane and Arianne are beautiful.

    Oh, naming is tough, isn't it!
    I was thinking of Arthur for a boy? Or Marijn / Marien / Martien? That's kind of in there, or do you think that's too far-fetched?

    For a girl, Marith (already mentioned, I saw), Maria? I really don't think names like Arianne are trendy anymore, so it's a bit tricky Sari, as mentioned earlier, is also nice!

    My name is Arieke (second name) after my grandpa, who is called Arie :-) Marie is also an option.
    Good luck coming up with the name!

    For a girl, I think Sari is really beautiful. You can also reverse the letters, and you get the name Ira. It can be pronounced Dutch (Ieraa) or English (Airah). I think that's cool too!
    For a boy, I find it harder. I like Jari. Aris is a great choice!
