Is ovulation possible shortly after a miscarriage?

6 replies

Els
Hi, I had a miscarriage on December 10th (7 weeks pregnant) and it took a while. I had bleeding, then nothing for a while. The baby was finally expelled on January 6th. HCG was gone by then (had a blood test). Maybe it was my period starting in January or not, I don't know... Could I have already felt ovulation this week? Also had light pink discharge. Implantation seems too soon to me. Anyone with experiences to share? Thanks

    I had a miscarriage on November 15th and ovulated again on November 29th. I'm now 9 weeks pregnant. So it can happen quickly.

    @sweet, my first miscarriage was like that too because I didn’t have afterbirth. Did you have long bleeding?

    I’ve had 4 miscarriages, and they were all different. But with the last one, I bled for 5 or 6 days.

    @nienke, it's indeed the same question. Apparently, no one here has an answer, so it'll be a surprise for all of us :-) It's going to be a few exciting weeks :-)

    @sofie: Thanks, it'll definitely be a wait-and-see thing ????

    My fertile period/ovulation was clearly yesterday-today so :-) cervical mucus very obvious :-). This always lines up, so I never use ovulation tests. My question is probably solved :-) thanks for all the replies and now waiting to test in early Feb :-)
