Only had sex on the day of the positive ovulation test and got pregnant?

I'm curious about your experiences. Who has only had intercourse on the day of a positive ovulation test and got pregnant from that? Or if you didn't use a test, I'd love to know if you only had intercourse a few days before ovulation and still got pregnant.
Thanks in advance for your responses!

Hi Babywens! In principle, one time having sex is enough to get pregnant. Why do you want to know so much?

As Mila says, midwives generally recommend having sex at most twice a week for the best chance of getting pregnant.

It’s possible that you’ll get pregnant if you have sex once around ovulation. That can happen. It also depends on whether you’ve had sex before that, or if it’s been a while since you last had sex, meaning you might have “older sperm.” Anything can happen, and a pregnancy test will show the result.
