Pregnant?

ccctje
Hi everyone,

I stopped the pill in November and got my period neatly the following month, from December 16th to December 20th.

Now it's January 12th and I still haven't gotten my period...

I thought there would be 26 days between cycles by now, but I'm already on day 28 and nothing yet.

I do get a lot of cramps and the feeling that my period is coming, because I feel something moving, but then it's just clear discharge.

What should I do? Wait longer or ask someone who knows?

We really want our first baby.

    Take a pregnancy test

I woke up last night with pain and noticed I was bleeding, which didn't feel good either, so it turned out to be my period after all. But I still have the feeling that my veins on my breasts are now quite visible...

Are you hesitating? Just throw a test at it.

Bloed is not usually pregnant, and besides, if you're unsure, it's better to take a test than to pay attention to all sorts of symptoms.

With bleeding, I’d also assume you’re not pregnant. But taking a test to confirm can’t hurt.
For me, the veins were present every month before my period and then slowly went away again. Symptoms aren’t exactly reliable, after all.

Yeah, I'm really upset about it, pff. I had high hopes this time because I thought I was overdue on day 28, since I normally have a 26-day cycle.

I agree with Mimi, symptoms usually don't mean much; it's often a sign that your period is coming instead of pregnancy. Good luck next round.

    It's really tough, ccctje!
If you'd like a bit more support, it might be nice to join NOD in February. Then you can look forward to the next chance together!
