Hey everyone

I'm now 4 days overdue. You'd think, yay! But that's where my problem lies

I took a test (Kruidvat) yesterday and it was 100% negative. I've always had a regular cycle my whole life. I don't feel anything that suggests the little devils are coming, except for some back pain. On the contrary, I have white discharge

Can your body "skip a period"? And what are the causes for that? Does this affect my fertility? ...

    Hey,
My cycle was never completely regular, but still more or less. When we decided to try for a baby, my period sometimes came late and even once I didn't get it at all for a month.
I think I was just too focused on getting pregnant back then. We used ovulation tests and I was so focused on my cycle that I think the 'stress' just affected it.
But it definitely didn't affect my fertility. Meanwhile, we have a little girl running around and baby 2 is on the way (29 weeks pregnant).
Good luck with trying to get pregnant!!!

    Thanks for your reply!
This is my first time, so I got a bit panicked at first, and the more you consult Doctor Google, the more confused you get

    Enjoy your pregnancy

Your ovulation might have been a bit later this month, so you're not overdue yet. It can always happen a bit later than usual

Yeah, I guess I panicked a bit too quickly when I read how some women can sometimes go overdue by quite a bit for no reason

One missed ovulation is nothing to worry about!
Still, the uncertainty can be annoying.

Yeah, unfortunately, it's relatable. My cycle was sometimes quite a bit later, and once I didn't even ovulate at all. So it's (unfortunately) very normal.
