High-risk pregnancy

Hi everyone,
I'm curious to hear your experiences. My first pregnancy was with high-risk (hg) pregnancy. Now we're going for the second one, and from what I understand, there's a good chance I'll have issues with hg again. How was it for you?
Was there hg again, or was the second pregnancy completely different?
Love

No personal experience with it, but my best friend does!
First daughter had severe morning sickness, vomited until she was on the delivery table.
Second child is a boy. Not once did he vomit! Barely even nauseous

That's good to hear! I mostly hear and read that it's the same or even worse the second time (I know I should keep that in mind), so I find it really nice to hear that it can be different haha.

Here, 2nd pregnancy is a bit better, but still lots of vomiting. So it'll be 9 months again. First time was a girl, now a boy. I'm 29 weeks along and the vomiting is still here unfortunately. But not as frequent as in the first pregnancy.

To an1980! Even though you probably already took that into account? It's still a shame if it's like this. Glad it's a bit less, every time you vomit less is a good thing..

I had HG in my first pregnancy. Now I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and it's still manageable, just nauseous. But with my son, I was really, really sick.

Hope it stays like this now, @bella! I'll be rooting for you!

Hi! I already mentioned it in the NODfeb2020 thread, but I was also hospitalized 3 times during my first pregnancy due to dehydration and needed a fluid drip. I'm also scared of a second pregnancy, with a toddler running around, but the desire for a second child is stronger. So we're going for it again, first round now :-)

That's so nice that we're both participating in February! And it's also nice to read that someone else has been in the same boat (even though it's not fun because it's about HG, which I certainly don't wish on you, haha). Hope HG skips you this time
