2 miscarriages in a row, what now?

Hi, I have a big question/doubt.... I just had a 2nd miscarriage, got pregnant right after the 1st one and it ended in miscarriage again. The gynecologist says it's just bad luck because I have to wait for a better egg. I'm just 40, blood tests are super good. I have a 12-year-old son. She says maybe wait a cycle this time, but what if I happen to have a good egg this month and just skip it? What do you think? Just keep trying or wait a cycle after 2 consecutive miscarriages? Normally you can get pregnant because the body signals it's ready through ovulation? Anyone have experience with this?

@puck: indeed, that's our risk that we have to wait for a "good" egg :-). Thanks for your answer, I think I'll just continue as I was and see what this month brings... I'm trying to let it go a bit more...
