Hi there! I'm Jelka and I'm pregnant with our first baby! I'm almost due now, and the names (we don't know the gender yet) are 90% set. I'm curious what you all think of the names / any comments or suggestions (or none at all, of course), etc. Thanks!

Girl's name:
Lune Helena Julie
(I'm also curious how you pronounce Lune; Loene - Luune - Loen or Luun.)

Boy's name:
Yves Julius Valentijn

    I think Lune (I'd pronounce it as loene) and Yves are great names!

    Nice names! I'd go with Luune. I don't find Yves so appealing myself, but that's just personal taste. It does look really nice with the second and third names.

    Nice name, Lune! I'd pronounce it as "Luune." I like both the combination of first and middle names, and first and last names. However, I'm not so fond of the name Yves. Unlike Lune, I find Yves not very smooth.

    Thanks for the replies! We do plan to pronounce Lune as Luune, so that works out great haha! By the way, we pronounce Yves in French, so like iev.

    I think they're both nice. I'll have to get used to Yves, but I don't think it's bad.

    I think Lune (Luune) is a really nice name, especially when combined with the 2nd and 3rd names.

    Personally, I don't like Yves. It reminds me of perfume. I agree it's not such a smooth and tough name. But hey, everyone has their own preferences, of course.

    I think Lune is beautiful and I'd pronounce it as Luune.
    Yves, unfortunately, I don't find beautiful at all.
    But well, you'll always have supporters and opponents for every name.

    Thanks for the replies. Hmm.. Most of you don't seem that enthusiastic about Yves.
    What do you think of our B-options:
    Seth - Ravi - Joas - Fedde

    I think your B options are all much nicer than the name Yves!
    Joas I like the least, in my opinion it lacks the letter n. Seth is the most beautiful.

    Lune is a great name. Pronounce it with "uu" and not with "oe".

    The boy names in the B series are much better. I'd go for Seth!

    Yes, your B options are much nicer!! I don't like Fedde so much, but I do like the rest of the names. Light preference for Ravi.
