Dry line or pregnant?

Hi there,

I'm new here! And I can't find my question anywhere.

On Dec 31st in the afternoon I did an Etos test and it was negative. In the evening I looked at it again and saw a faint line. (evaporation line)

Since the shops were closed today, I tested again 2 days later with a KV store brand test. This was negative and still is. I was supposed to get my period yesterday. And still nothing.

I've never experienced this before.

Are there other girls who have experienced this? And what was the outcome in the end? And did you also feel pregnant?

Thanks for your replies!

    Hi!
That test is positive! But not within 5 minutes though? Is this the Etos test? And which test did you use from Kruidvat? One test is more sensitive than the other. The Kruidvat 2 in a box for €5 are known as sensitive tests.

I’d do another test tomorrow morning with first urine, so exciting!! Hope it’s a hit for you

    Hi Saar,
Thanks for your reply. Did you experience this too?
The test in the photo is from Etos' own brand. Outside of the 5 min, indeed. Today I tested with the Kruidvat own brand and that was negative.
I'll try again in 2 days if I still haven't gotten my period.

This unfortunately happens very often and you can find dozens of topics about it. You have to read the test within the time stated in the leaflet. If it's negative then, throw it away. Anything you see a few hours later are just evaporation lines. So I'd consider this a negative test, which is also confirmed by your second test.

I think unfortunately this has to be considered negative, I've had quite a few false positive tests and was unfortunately not pregnant after all
