I was wondering if anyone has had the same experience and could give some advice. We are trying for a second baby.
My last period was on 25/11. On 10/12 I got my first positive ovulation test, and had intercourse that day and the day before. I was supposed to get my next period on 24/12, but it didn't come (I think). From the 26th to the 28th I had pinkish spotting when wiping, nothing else (normally my period is heavy bleeding). I've done 3 tests, all negative... Could it have been late implantation? Or was this really a period (which I've never had like this before)? Should I focus on the next cycle or wait a bit longer?

Sorry for the long post
Cheers

Hmm, tricky. So your cycle is 29 days? And your pink spotting on days 32 to 34? If it's implantation, you can't test positive yet; you'd need to wait a few more days. At least 3 or 4 days. If your period hasn't started by then, you could test positive. I don't know how long you've been off the pill; it could still be withdrawal bleeding, and your cycle might not be regular yet. In that case, just wait for your period to come.

Well, as you yourself pointed out. It's a wait-and-see situation. If the tests keep coming back negative, I think it's safe to say you're not pregnant; late implantation really doesn't happen that often in theory. So I indeed think that was your period, and it was just lighter than usual this month. That does happen sometimes; maybe your body was a bit off balance. Sometimes your period just skips a month, and you're not pregnant.

I wish you lots of luck during this time of uncertainty. If you're still doubting, just to be sure, take another test, or consult your GP. If you have the feeling you might be pregnant, they can do a blood test.
