Good afternoon everyone!

I've been following you all on this forum for a while now but have never posted myself because I always found my answers in your stories. Which is nice, of course.

This time, though, I have a question and I'm not sure which way to go, so I thought I'd give it a try and hear your opinions.

Here's my story: my partner and I have been trying to conceive for over a year now, with no luck so far. We've both been tested, and thankfully no issues have come up. We also did two IUIs last September and October (in a natural cycle), with the last one supported by Progynova. We didn't continue this month because it's such a busy month at work, and I couldn't manage multiple hospital visits.

Also, with the IUI, my expected ovulation date (NOD) was day 32, whereas without IUI it's always been day 28.

So here's the question: today is day 31 and I still don't see any signs (like egg whites), sometimes I feel a twinge and think they're there, but then nothing. I tested last Saturday (14/12) and again today (19/12), but nothing...

Should I stick with my usual day 28 or keep expecting day 32?

Sorry for the long post, and a big thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and reply.

Sorry it's taking a bit longer. Good news that nothing was found though!

I'd go with 32 days. The tests show not pregnant. I'd stick with that for now. You'd usually see something by 1 day before your period. And definitely by 3 days after.

    Hope you get pregnant soon!

My cycle was also different after IUI, but I had a bit more medication. (For me too, it went the other way, suddenly 18 days instead of 25)
I would also keep testing on day 32 and test calmly every 2 to 3 days until you get your period or a + test. 1 day before your NOD (which you're not sure is accurate) doesn't tell you anything at all; it depends on when your ovulation was and when implantation occurred.
And otherwise, ask your doctor at what cycle day you can come late?

Indeed, stick to your longest cycle, and every woman produces hCG at her own pace. Testing negative now doesn't mean anything, as Anonymous claimed. I tested negative two days past my expected period, and on the third day past, I got a strong positive, all with early tests. Good luck, hopefully you're pregnant. Maybe you'd enjoy chatting in the mmm group!
