Birth
Breastfeeding

Hi ladies,
I'm pregnant with my third baby.
I tried breastfeeding for my first and second, but unfortunately, it just didn't work out. I had severe engorgement for two weeks, which made breastfeeding impossible. It really left me with a trauma. Now, I absolutely DO NOT want to breastfeed. I've let my midwife know, and I know there's a medication that can stop milk production, but they're reluctant to prescribe it. My question is, what can I do best to minimize or avoid engorgement so I can just enjoy my postpartum time instead of crying and feeling miserable.
Thanks in advance.
