2 days before my period, is this implantation bleeding or something else?

Hi ladies,
I'm new here, my name is Katja and I'm a mom of 1. My partner and I are trying to conceive a second baby, so I was supposed to get my period on Friday, but it started today instead. My question now is, does anyone know more about this? Could it be implantation bleeding, and do you get cramps with that too? How long does something like that last, etc. I never had it with my first. It's not really when wiping, but more like 2 pads or so are full since this afternoon. Normally during my period I can change every hour or 1.5 hours, but now not at all. Hopefully there are some ladies who can help me. Thanks in advance.

That's definitely possible, but you can only wait and then test. You can lose blood before your period, but also after implantation. I had bleeding at 6 and 12 dpo with my youngest. Not all day, but bright red. Are you still bleeding now?
