pregnancy test

Took a test today. After half an hour, just as I was about to throw it away, I saw a faint line. Did another test afterward, which was negative. I have to admit I had drunk a lot beforehand, and my urine looked like water. Has anyone had experience with a test that shows a positive result even after the reading time?

    Being late is negative.
Try testing the Kruidvat 2 for 5 euros once.
    When is your due date?

Within the reading time, something really needs to happen for it to be positive.. maybe test again in a few days. Good luck anyway

Well, unfortunately, we can't guarantee anything either. The only option if you're unsure is to test again in a few days!

Give it another try, but honestly, I've never seen a second line on my negative tests. It can happen, but I've never had that. How many times did I not even look in the toilet bowl, and it was always perfectly white. I wish for you that that second line is a real one. And that discharge, mmmm, it could be a good sign for me, but I don't want to give you too much hope. Test and you'll see. Good luck.

Maybe you really shouldn't give false hope, Amelie! If you've been reading along on this forum for a while, you'll come across dozens of false-positive tests. Unfortunately, it happens quite often after a short reading time. If you've tested negative after that, I'd really assume you're not pregnant. And if your period still doesn't show up, just test again after a few days.

Maybe it has to do with you taking the test apart? You'd better follow the instructions for use, then you'll get the best result and it won't be influenced by other factors.

Just test again tomorrow morning. Outside the time frame it's just negative; it needs to show two lines within the time limit.
I've seen that more often after the expected period: positive, but then it was actually negative for me.
