Hi ladies,

I've been struggling with myself for a while now. I've had a strong desire for children for years. About a year ago, I finally met the man of my dreams, and we moved in together right away.

I have a stable, well-paid job, and my partner does too. We even own our own little house.

However, last month my gynecologist told me that having a baby won't be that simple for us.

Even though I really want a child, I wanted to wait a bit longer for the simple reason that we've only been together for a year and my partner isn't feeling great about himself right now because he's unhappy in his job.

But hearing that it might take a while before we can conceive has made me start doubting again... Should we still wait?

My partner also has mixed feelings. He wants nothing more than a child, but maybe he'd rather wait until he finds a better job. So that doesn't really help me out

Of course, you can't tell me what to do, but I just wanted to get it off my chest

    Hi there,

I got that message from my OB-GYN too. We were also told to expect a wait of about three years before going through the medical system. So we decided to let go and wait. Result? Pregnant after one month

I really know that it can happen anytime and that it turns your whole life upside down But that’s not always a bad thing, you know!

    Good luck with it!

    Congratulations Lis!!
Yes, we know that in the end everything can work out. For us, getting pregnant isn't really a problem (well, you never know, of course), but staying pregnant is. Unfortunately, I have a very high risk of miscarriage
That's why it's kind of difficult, of course... Not that we wouldn't be happy if we got pregnant right away and carried to term If only we had a crystal ball, huh?
