That's so hard to go through, sending you lots of strength! Unfortunately, it took longer for me, but I have no idea what the exact cause was.
    1st pregnancy: round 2
    2nd pregnancy: round 1
3rd pregnancy: round 1, miscarriage after 12 weeks
    4th (current) pregnancy: round 6

    For me:

1st: 2 rounds when I had a miscarriage at 9w5d and after the miscarriage 1 round and now 15w pregnant.
    Lots of strength and success!

First of all, lots of strength!

I had 2 miscarriages after 7 months, both ending in a blighted ovum/missed abortion. After the second one, I got pregnant again 2 months later and this time it went well! Now I have a little boy of almost 2.

First round after my miscarriage, I'm pregnant again. It took 4 weeks for me to ovulate again.
That's really tough for you to have gone through that. I hope it works out and you're pregnant again soon.

Still, 2 ladies who got pregnant shortly after their miscarriage! Were you not extremely anxious during the first 12 weeks?
It's really nice that it worked out so quickly again.

    Hi Merel,
It really does depend from person to person...
Here’s a less positive story: when I stopped the pill in May/June 2017, I got pregnant in the first round. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out at 6/7 weeks, and since then, I haven’t been able to get pregnant again. Meanwhile, it’s been two and a half years.
I understand your concern; I was also really scared that it would go wrong again if it worked out...

I had a miscarriage in June. Still not pregnant, unfortunately.

I had a miscarriage in March 2019, and it's been almost 9 months now, and I'm still not pregnant.

So it really varies when you'll get pregnant again.

Had a miscarriage in August, got a positive test on October 15th, and it seems to be going well this time..

Pff, ladies. I can't make heads or tails of it again One is pregnant again while the other is already a year further..
Well, there's nothing you can do about it. So frustrating..
  11. stéfanie #12

That fear is definitely there, even after the 12 weeks,
  12. Amoxiclav #13

Sure! Still scared every day here..

@Stefanie: I totally get why you're still holding onto that fear. Once you've had a miscarriage, the days of carefree pregnancy are definitely over.

It's so unfair. Some women easily have 4 healthy kids, while others spend years trying and it still doesn't work out. When I was younger, I never really stopped to think about how special it is to have a healthy baby. I wonder if I'll ever experience that again. I'm 34 and not exactly young anymore

No, I didn't really have that fear. With that previous miscarriage, I felt like I wasn't pregnant anymore right after the bleeding started. With my last pregnancy, I also had a light bleed at 12 dpo and still felt pregnant. I did get an ultrasound at 6 weeks and everything was fine. I've had 4 pregnancies, one of which ended early. It's not nice, but I can still count myself lucky. If you keep having that kind of bad luck, I imagine it's much harder not to worry.

Here’s a success story. It took us 2 years for the first one; we were just about to start the medical process when I found out I was pregnant.
With the second, I got pregnant after 3 months, but it ended in a miscarriage. Then, after 2 months, I was pregnant again and had another miscarriage. The following month, I got pregnant again and this time it stuck. Last month, we gave birth to our little girl. So, each time, I got pregnant faster.
