21 weeks pregnant

Hi! I'm new here, so I'm just getting a feel for how everything works! I'm Nicole, 35, and 21 weeks pregnant with my first! Everything is going super well, no issues or discomfort at all! But I do have a problem—I'm feeling really insecure. I had an ultrasound last week, and everything was fine with our boy, but now, a week later, I'm feeling unsure again. Ugh, it's not doing me any good! Are there others who feel this way too? Nice to meet you all!

    Hi Nicole,

    I totally relate to that. I think almost everyone goes through this. As long as you have an ultrasound, you feel reassured, but the moment that thing leaves your belly, you start doubting again.

    You should really have one of those devices at home

    but now i have an angelsound at home, but i'm not allowed to use it anymore because i was listening to my own music!

    Hi Nicole.

    I'm 10 weeks and 3 days... Super relatable! Here's another one who can get herself really worked up ha ha.... I'm glad when the 12 weeks are over, but it'll still be exciting! With the first one, I had no issues at all, but now I feel much more unsure! I also have a doppler, but I really doubt if it's not just my own imagination! I only use it once a week! Pff, there's an ultrasound on Thursday... only then will I feel at ease again! Enjoy your pregnancy, girl! Before you know it, it'll be over!

    Hi Nicole,
    First and foremost, congratulations on your little boy
    I'm also pregnant with my first, but it's a girl and I know exactly how you feel. I'm now about 31 weeks along, and that uncertainty just won't go away. I've started getting out of bed an hour or two earlier than usual on days when I have an ultrasound, so I can spend a whole hour soaking in the bath and relaxing... I stay anxious until the ultrasound is done, and even after it's over, I'm only a bit more at ease until evening comes around, when the uncertainty starts creeping back in. I always feel so happy when I can feel and see our little girl kicking and stomping.

    Enjoy your pregnancy, because before you know it, it'll be over and you'll have your little boy in your arms.
