What do you think of the name Nola?

What do you think of the name Nola? We're really big fans of the name Noor, but the only downside is that it's in the top 20, so we're still looking for other options before we make a choice. Any other nice suggestions?

    Other names: Nori, Viènn, Zola, Demi, Liva, Tara, Lune, Nim, Vieve, Jolie.

    Nola! Such a lovely name! It comes across as cheerful, smooth, and feminine. I like Noor, but Nola is just a bit nicer.

    I find Noor prettier myself. I wouldn't care about the top 20 either and would just choose what I think looks nice So you don't later think 'I wish I had chosen...'

    Nola isn't really my thing.
    When I hear Noor, I always think of a Norwegian person who lives in Norway, sorry. Then I'd rather go for Nora

    Plus the fact that it's common, as you said, I wouldn't mind it. Here, the third child is also named Jasmijn, which is a well-known name, but I just thought it was such a lovely and timeless name, so we went for it.
    Our oldest daughter, 10 years old, is named Yara. Back then it felt very special and unique, and now you hear the name everywhere almost. So yeah, you see, it can go either way, haha.
    Still glad she's named Yara

    I'd go with Nore/Nora. Nola reminds me of Nolan, but it feels unfinished.

    Such a lovely name! I always said I was going to name my child Nola! In the end, my daughter ended up being called Dana, totally different haha!

    Nice name, but it reminds me of The Lion King? Weird, because that's Nala...
