Ovulation test is positive when having sex

When would you guys have community? I just did the last test today.

    As soon as you get a positive test! That means your egg is about to ovulate. If you know your cycle, you can have intercourse in the days leading up to the positive test. Sperm can live for several days in a woman's body, and those that are already there waiting to fertilize the egg have the best chance. I always did it every other day, starting about 5 days before the expected ovulation. This is good for sperm quality, so there's always some sperm waiting. But you can also get pregnant if you have sex more often. Just do what feels right for you both.

    Okay, thanks for your message! Motherhood forum, I find it nice that you always respond so quickly, thanks for that. But if we decide to have intercourse tonight or this afternoon, would that still make sense? Or not? What percentage chance is there of success then? Or does it not matter?

    That's both on time, okay!
    Your little one will still jump, and after that, she'll be fertile for about another 24 hours.

    Today definitely makes sense, and tomorrow or the day after as well. The ones from the 8th and 9th are still not positive, and this peak lasts about 48 hours. So definitely today! But don't stop too early either.

    Bosje, with a positive ovulation test, I try to have sex on the day itself and two days later. Your egg will release within 48 hours. So today and Tuesday, I'd say for you. But like Floor says: don't stop too early. Good luck!

    What do you mean by "don't stop too early"? Do you mean to do it again in 2 days, and then again in 2 days?

    I mean that you shouldn't jump to the conclusion that it was your egg! So don't stop having sex too quickly. Doing it one extra time won't hurt
