Light positive test after a clearly positive test

Snbtje
Wednesday (4+3) I tested for the first time and got a clear positive result.
This morning (4+6) I tested again, the line was much lighter but still clearly visible.
Has anyone experienced this before? And ended up with a healthy pregnancy?
Nausea and tender breasts haven't gotten any better.
I probably shouldn't have tested again because now I'm really unsure about it all.

I see that you've had a relapse. Are you sure it's not due to medication?

It was a frozen embryo transfer, and I don't have my medication that contains the hCG hormone.

If the lines get lighter, that’s usually a sign that your hCG levels are dropping. Or maybe you used a different test that’s less sensitive. But they should really be going up. If they’re not, it might have gone wrong right after implantation. That’s really tough if that’s what happened, but it’s the most logical explanation.

It's the same type of test. Yeah, I really shouldn't have tested at all I'll just call the hospital on Monday... due to the medication, I probably won't get my period yet...
I do read stories that it happens more often, but it does make me feel unsure.

I had a darker test on Friday than on Saturday, and after 3 days the rest had really risen again, so it could be... your hCG fluctuates in the beginning, so I would test again on Monday.

Unfortunately, I went through this earlier this year after an embryo transfer. For me, it meant that it didn’t work out again, and a miscarriage started a few days later.

Yes, I want to take a new test on Monday and call the hospital..

@ariel was this also with a cryo? Did you also have to keep taking progynova/utrogestan? I'm so scared that it won't kick in because of the progynova and utrogestan and that I'll be going for jan *** soon...

@peetje1983, that's just a 1-day difference. After 3 days, a lighter line is rarely a good sign. It would also be illogical. The fact that it was different for you was probably because your hCG hadn't risen significantly yet in 1 day, and your urine was less concentrated during the second test. You mentioned yourself that the test had risen by 3 days later.

Snbje, it was indeed with a frozen embryo in a natural cycle, so I only had to take Crinone (instead of Utrogestan).
I tested 3 times over 5 days and the tests kept getting lighter. On the day of the blood test, I already felt cramps, so I stopped taking Crinone. That evening, the miscarriage started..

My hospital required me to keep taking the medication even when I felt the attempt had failed.
