Shelf life of morning urine

Hi ladies!
I’d like to test first thing tomorrow morning. But the mail carrier only comes by late in the morning with the tests. How long can I keep my morning urine so I can still test with it? And also not entirely unimportant: how? Should it go in the fridge?

    Good evening,
It can be kept outside the fridge for max. 2 hours and in the fridge for max. 24 hours. Are you still in need? Otherwise it doesn't have to be morning urine

Yes, 9 days even! And I already tested a faint line last time. Last month I had a miscarriage at 5+1 weeks but ovulated again just 2 weeks later. But even with that pregnancy, I tested positive 7 days before my due date. I use tests that detect from 10 hCG.

    Oh oké, that's pretty early.
Never test yourself for nod haha.
Good luck with the test later! I hope it goes well.

9 days before your period? So you're 5 dpo now? The fertilized egg doesn't reach the uterus until around 5 dpo. So testing positive this early is quite exceptional. But regarding urine: making sure your urine is as concentrated as it is in the morning also helps. So drink minimally and don't urinate after your first morning pee. If you then pee as soon as you're ready to test, that's fine too. If you still want to use your morning urine, it can actually stay outside the fridge for a few hours.

Regarding ovulation tests: did you clearly have a peak for 1 day? Because ovulation tests also react to hCG. So if you still had some hCG in your body for a few weeks after your mc, the ovulation test could also be positive. And the pregnancy test now shows a faint line. Doesn't have to be, but it can. Unless you did a follow-up test and everything was negative after your mc.

Anyway, good luck! I was pregnant again right away in the first cycle after my mc. So it can definitely happen quickly again.

9 days before your period? That seems really early for a positive test... it's not impossible, but then your implantation often hasn't even happened yet, since you're only at 5 DPO now. Also, it takes a while for your body to produce enough hCG for a positive test. Which brand did you use? And did you read the test within the reading time?

I'm actually really curious if you've already tested!

I think it's still quite early too. My implantation was at 5dpo, and I read that pretty quickly haha. But who knows. After my second miscarriage, I got pregnant right away, and that went well, thankfully. So who knows. I'm also curious if you've already taken the test.

I get your story, but the doctor took a look and confirmed that I did ovulate. Got a dye job too
I have short cycles so a 5 dpo is possible in my case. My previous pregnancy was this one too! I tested today. In the evening because I only got my tests in the afternoon. And there too a line 7dpo so
Felt the implantation in the morning and tested in the evening with 5 dpo. And this morning I was hanging over the toilet sick so I think it's going to work out

Then you're done, great that you're feeling so good about it. Hopefully they turn out well!

The little line is still very faint, of course, because you're still quite early in your pregnancy. But he's walking!

A short cycle doesn't say anything about implantation timing. They're unrelated. But I also had implantation at 6 dpo with my youngest. I just had a very faint line at 8 dpo, but the tests rose quickly. It could also be twins, of course!

But it's nice that the line is getting darker! Congrats, cautiously!

That indeed has nothing to do with implantation. I was 5 dpo when I implanted, but I only tested once after that. So I don't know if I had a line earlier.
I got pregnant right after a miscarriage, so I was convinced my whole body was still in shock, but I was pregnant and now have a little one who's already 10 months old.

Oh Debbie! That's so beautiful, I hope it's true for you!!

    Thank you!

Ah okay! Well, for now, the line is looking nice and clear. I have a feeling I might have had a double ovulation. So we'll wait and see how many there are haha
