Jip or Pip

Hi!

We're expecting a little girl in early January and we want to name her Jip or Pip. The problem is we can't decide, and we hope you can help us out.

    I think Jip is more of a boy's name (from Jip and Janneke), so I'd go with Pip.

    I think Jip is super cool for a girl! But I also really like Pip. Tough choice, but I'd go with Jip.

    I really like these names. Both seem a bit stubborn and sweet to me. I have a slight preference for Pip. It feels a bit more girly than Jip.

    Jip, I think Pup is more of a pet name.

    It's exactly what you want. I think Jip is cooler. Pip feels more feminine. The downside of Pip is that it's a short form of Pippa/Filippa/etc. Not sure if you'd find that annoying.

    I think Jip is a bit more tomboyish and Pip is more feminine. I do know a girl named Jip. It's nice, but I prefer Pip.
