Getting pregnant after having an IUD removed

hi hi,
I had my IUD removed 3 weeks ago. We already have a son who's almost 2 and really want a second child.
How long does it usually take for your period to return after removal? And even if you haven't gotten your period yet, is there still a chance of getting pregnant? Last time it all went really smoothly, but I don't remember exactly!

    Hey,

I was pregnant in the second month after having my IUD removed. The first time, I got my period about a month after it was removed, if I remember correctly!

    Good luck!

Deaf, you get your period two weeks after ovulation, so that comes first (seriously, the whole period and ovulation thing ).

I had my IUD removed on July 19th. I got my period on July 20th. My ovulation was on August 3rd, and 9 days later I had a positive test. So it can happen really fast. Meanwhile, I'm 12 weeks pregnant.

I had my IUD removed on July 22 and got my period 30 days later. The next time it was 32 days. So I’m assuming a 32-day cycle. I think I was on my period when they removed the IUD. I didn’t have periods while I had the Mirena, so I have no idea what my cycle was like back then.

    Hi hi,

I have one more question. We were intimate last Thursday, and today I got a positive ovulation test. Now I'm wondering, can I get pregnant now? Or is the chance small?

    Thanks in advance!
