Forum Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

The ovulation test wasn't super positive.

Hi! I've been using ovulation tests since last month. This month was supposed to be round 7.
Now I find it really confusing; on cycle day 8 I got a faint positive line and on day 9 too. But today my test was completely negative. I read online that early ovulation isn't very common, but it can happen. But my tests didn't show a bright red line... and last month it did very clearly. (That time I had one day of a light test and the two days after both had a bright red line).
Should I assume I've missed the chance? Or could the positive line show up again?
Curious what you all think????

Best,

    Keep testing, it'll come naturally.

I get that every month. Around CD12, it seems to start, then on CD13 there's the same faint line. CD14 and onwards it's completely white again, and then from CD18 it really starts to rise again, really strong. So just keep testing.

Definitely keep testing and aim for the LH surge—I take two tests a day to really catch the peak. Otherwise, I always miss it. You can also track other things in an app that help you find your ovulation, like temperature, cervical mucus, and other signs.
