Strange feeling and unsure about my body

Hi everyone,

After some weighing of options, I've finally joined a forum.
We're trying to conceive and I stopped the pill in mid-July. The first few weeks I had no issues and thought, let's see how it goes and when my cycle kicks in. But now I'm losing trust in my own body a bit.
I can't and don't want to share this privately with anyone, so maybe there are people here with 'experience' .

After 6 weeks, I got my period for the first time. It wasn't very long, but it was heavy with bright red blood loss.
Yesterday I was 28 days into my cycle and could have started my period. Before the pill, I had a regular cycle.
Now I've had regular (menstrual) cramps since last weekend; it felt like a period was coming last weekend.
I have a very bloated feeling, menstrual pain mainly on the lower left side. Leading up to and during that weekend, I was also regularly nauseous, even to the point of vomiting. At first I thought maybe it was a virus, but there's a slight doubt in the back of my mind.
Then last Monday I had light pink discharge 2 times..
The nausea is gone now, but the cramps keep coming back. Today again some cramps, but no period. Because of this, I've become very unsure about my own body over the past 2 weeks.

If I'm not on my period by Friday, maybe I should take another test?

Are there more people here who have had these symptoms?

Warm regards!

After I stopped the pill, I had a few months of very different cycles. Sometimes almost 40 days, then again 24 days. After a few months, it became regular.

In your case, it could be pregnancy. Otherwise, try a test...

Thank you so much. I'll just do a test on Friday after all. Whatever the result is, I think I can trust my body again a little bit. The cramps keep going on. And yesterday suddenly felt very nauseous again and ran to the toilet..
