When do you get your period after a miscarriage?

Hi everyone,
I had an early miscarriage (6 weeks) around August 16th. I'm wondering how long it took for you all to get your period again?
I'm still waiting, so I'd love to hear your experiences.
Greetings!

Oh, that's indeed annoying. I ovulated more than 4 weeks after my last period. Got pregnant right away, so it can happen quickly again. But it also took a while for things to get going for me.

    Hey Ab91,

That's so sad and tough for you both. Unfortunately, I can speak from experience on this for the past 2 weeks and I've been asking myself the same question.

I've had bleeding for 2 weeks now. As I've heard from others, this is very personal and different for everyone.

I hope your cycle gets back on track soon and that you'll be ready to try for a new little miracle when you feel prepared.

    Best wishes

Here’s a miscarriage with a D&C as a result, it didn’t happen naturally, hence that. 4 weeks later, my period came again. After that, a natural miscarriage and again, 4 weeks later, my period.

Yeah, what Anne says is correct, between 4-8 weeks is average, your body/hormones need to recover significantly. Hopefully, you don’t have to wait much longer.

    Lots of strength!

It took me 8 weeks after all.
I'm glad that's behind me now hopefully it's not too bad for you guys.

After my first miscarriage, I got my first period again after 4 weeks. After the second miscarriage, I'm now around 4 weeks again but still nothing. I'm also really curious when I'll get my period again.

I've heard that it's different for everyone, but waiting isn't fun haha.

No, indeed, the waiting is really disappointing
I hope it's over soon and that you'll have a positive test in your hands again soon!

With the first one, it took 4 weeks, but then I got pregnant right away. I wish you both lots of success!
