Ovulation??

Hi everyone.

Hope someone can help me.
I stopped the pill because we want to start trying for a 2nd baby from January.

Normally my cycle is min 28 days and max 31.

I had sex on Friday night and wouldn't ovulate until next Thursday/Friday, so outside my fertile window.
Buuuut....

I suddenly got period-like cramps yesterday and today I've had stabbing pains in the lower right side of my belly, near my fallopian tubes.
Is this ovulation pain? And is my ovulation happening earlier than usual?
Could I be pregnant from the sex 3 days ago?

Normally I wouldn't mind getting pregnant but I just started a new job, so that's why we wanted to wait until January.

Can someone tell me if my pain could really be ovulation pain?
I'm on CD 12.

Love, Bella

Yeah, technically that could work, I think. So you'd have sex on CD 8 or 9 and then ovulate on CD 11. Sperm can survive quite a while up to 5 days (though it's usually more like 2 days, I think), but if you really did ovulate now, then it's possible. It's exciting! Maybe you could do some ovulation tests in the coming days, so you'll know for sure if your egg has already been released (because the test won't turn positive anymore) or if it's coming on day 14 or later.

It could be... but you might also be feeling pain from your egg's last growth spurt... If you're only planning to really try starting in January, why no condom then?

Yes, it could. But no one has a crystal ball, so no one knows for sure if it's ovulation, a little stomach cramp, or something else. You'll just have to use ovulation tests or track your temperature.

Yeah, there's really no other option
