    hi.

    I've also seen a faint line twice now, I just can't bring myself to believe it.
    Looking at my app where I track everything, I should be 4w3d, so very early. Could that be why the line is so faint?

    If you're not sure, just take another test.
    But I can also see a pretty clear second line.

    I see a good line too. Was it within the reading time? Have you already had your NOD?

    @marmar: it could be that your egg was a bit later or that you started producing hCG late... so just wait and see for the next few days.

    @Floor it was after 10 minutes, and that was also stated as the maximum time. It's quite weird because I'm pretty sure I got my period last week. What was strange was that this was on day 26, while I normally have a cycle of about 33 days. Last week I was really tired and emotional, so I thought I'd just do a test to see...
    Have you guys ever experienced something like this?

    You often hear that implantation bleeding is mistaken for a period. My sister had exactly the same thing. Test again in 2 days, then it should start to rise a bit.

    I did indeed have an implantation bleed and only got a positive test a week later. My cycle is very short and the bleeding was exactly on the day I expected my period, hence the confusion.

    I think your test is a bit patchy and I'd definitely take it again. It looks like there's still some urine on it and since it was read late, which I gather from what you're saying, I'd check with a good test first. (And read the instructions carefully regarding how much urine to use and set a timer for reading the result.)
