Help! Naming, but how?

We recently found out we’re expecting a girl. I’d love to name my little girl after my dad (Wennie Wijnandus) or my mom (Diny) using her middle name. But we can’t come up with a nice, modern first name for either of them.

Here’s what we’ve considered but decided against:
- Diny: Dina / Dieneke / Dientje
- Wennie Wijnandus: Wiene / Nande / Wijntje

Can you help us/us? ????

    Tricky, huh? A few options:
    -Wendy (after dad and mom)
    -Wende
-Winnie (also after dad and mom)
    -Dide
    Hope it helps a bit!

    Ynid (Ie-nid) maybe an idea?
    (Reverse spelling of Diny)

    Diny - Ardine / Linny /
    Wennie - Fenny / leny / Winnie / Femmie /

Poeh it's indeed tricky... I had also thought of Wendy before I saw the responses..

    Diny -> Indy

Is Diny not an abbreviation of a longer name?

I thought of Winnie right away. I think it sounds really sweet.

I first thought of Wendy, to name both after them.

Also, I really like Indy, it has the same letters as Diny, just in a different order.

    Gwen? For Wennie.
For Diny, I think Indy is also really nice.

I think Gwen and Indy are super cool and edgy!!
    Here are some more ideas:
    Wieke, Wieteke, Wiesje,
Dana, Dané, Dani, Demy, Dewi (a bit of both)
