The title says it all.
Why do kids grow up so fast?

My oldest is almost 15, my youngest just turned 3. My family is complete.

I sometimes miss those cute babies. The noises, the smell, the dependency. The little feet and hands.

And sometimes when the oldest and my toddler put on a big mouth and can't talk.

What I definitely don't miss is the crying and the bad sleep. After 14 years, we can finally sleep through most nights, my body thinks otherwise though.

But still those cute babies!!!! I love them.

Yeah, unfortunately they grow up so fast. And babies just look so irresistibly cute thanks to Mother Nature. Who else would change a diaper at 3 AM despite the dark circles under their eyes from sleep deprivation, all while smiling

Haha, that’s so true!!! And that’s not even the worst part—being pooped on. Poop and pee in places you didn’t even know were possible.

Still, I miss those little bodies. Especially the smell and the cute little sounds. Luckily, there’s not a hair on my head that wants to have another one.
