Who knows how many times you have check-ups with an OB-GYN during pregnancy?
I went to a midwife for my previous pregnancy, but now I'm medically high-risk, so I'm under the care of an OB-GYN. I'm really curious because it's new to me.
I'm just 4 weeks pregnant now and have my first appointment on September 17.

    Hi hi.
I was also under the care of a gynecologist during my last pregnancy, but not from the very beginning.
It really depends on the reason why you're under a gynecologist's care.
I had gestational diabetes, so I had very regular ultrasounds and check-ups.

I'm already 27 weeks pregnant and have an appointment almost every month, so today is my 6th appointment.

Once a month, then towards the end of the pregnancy more often (with my daughter, I had to come every two weeks for the last two months).
So in total, I had about 11 appointments.

That depends on the medical reason you were referred to the OB-GYN. I'm 22 weeks pregnant now, and from week 6 to about week 16, I went every week. Now it's every two weeks.

Thank you so much for the answers. In my previous pregnancy, I was induced at 37 weeks due to HELLP syndrome.
I hope I’ll need to come by fairly often. Even if it’s just for my own peace of mind.
