Implantation bleeding or period?

Hey ladies,
Just a quick question,
I was supposed to get my period on August 18th.
On August 5th (ovulation), my husband and I had intercourse. A few days later, I noticed visible veins on my areola and on my legs.
A week later, I suddenly got quite severe abdominal pain. Three days later, I got pain in my uterus in the evening (it’s a different kind of abdominal pain than the one you get before your period). The next day, I had some bleeding—it wasn’t much, just a little with clots and pink discharge. And it only lasted for 2 days..
(I tested today and it was negative)
So is it just a regular period then?
Or is it implantation bleeding?

Hi Jojo, if August 5th was your ovulation day, you should be getting your period around now. The bleeding last week could have been implantation (failed?), but was it heavy? If your test is negative 14 days after ovulation, I think you're not pregnant. Or you're producing hCG very slowly. Those nipple changes are common! How's your discharge and mood? Do you feel other things now as normal around your expected date? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
