Hi ladies,
I just got back from the midwife and she wants me to get tested for gestational diabetes.
Does anyone have experience with this??
Love, Mandy

I hope you don't have it, because gestational diabetes can have consequences for your baby. I didn't have it in my previous pregnancy (and now I'm only 10 weeks pregnant), but a friend of mine did. She had to follow a diet during the last weeks of her pregnancy.
    Good luck with it!

Here’s someone who’s dealing with it too, Mandy. Just because they do the test doesn’t mean you have to say you have it! If you do have it, they might advise you to stick to a diet and keep a close eye on you to see if that helps. If not, they’ll prescribe medication! I really hope it doesn’t come to that for you! Because for some it’s very manageable, but unfortunately for others it’s a mess! Let us know how it goes, okay? And if you have any questions, you know where to find me!

    Thanks for your reply!
I hope it's not the case either.
Do you have any experience with kimjoy yourself?
    I'll keep you updated!

Hi Mandy, unfortunately yes, and they'll even induce me at 38 weeks. Even with insulin injections, they can't get it under control, so it's really tough.
