How do you deal with the disappointment of getting your period every month?
Hey, here's my story first.
In January 2012 I stopped the pill. Youngly married, always dreamed of a family. We got married in September 2012 but after 3 years still not pregnant so went to the GP who referred us and had everything checked. With me everything was fine, my husband had slow sperm so after all the tests I got Clomid pff and whether that stuff actually did anything, hot flashes, mood swings. In November of that year my grandma passed away and my heart was broken. I was so full of disappointment every month and those pills, so I just didn't keep track at all, completely nothing. So I processed my grief and picked up the thread again. Then in February 2016 all of a sudden a test came out positive. I thought gosh haven't had my period for a while, will just test, probably nothing but it was positive. In September 2016 we welcomed our daughter.
Truly my second love of my life.
But now since May last year we wanted to go for a brother or sister. But I got my period twice a month.
This year in May I went to the doctor with that and he referred me to a specialist and I had endometriosis which could be treated with freezing. That was done and more than a month later my period didn't come. I tested very lightly positive, I was over the moon!
But then I didn't test anymore, they stayed negative and yes the little one didn't stay. Horrible period.
Since then I've had a hard time staying positive and I really try but one day the sun shines and the next day nothing but rain.
