Pregnant or not?

Hi everyone. Quick question. Last month on the 27th I had my copper IUD removed. The gynecologist said she could see my period was about to start. That would be on time, but my partner and I have an active sex life every day, and now I'm quite a few days late and my period still hasn't come. The pregnancy test is negative, but what do you expect after a week? Could missing my period mean I got pregnant right away or that I'm just late? I'm always regular, never more than 2 days early or late. Now I'm 9 days late. Could I be pregnant?

If the test says negative, then assume that. And you said you're normally regular, but didn't you have an IUD? Now that it's out, your body has to do everything on its own... So that can definitely change suddenly.

Your cycle can change after the IUD is removed, so if the test is negative, I'd assume that's the case. Wait another month, and if you still haven't gotten your period, maybe you could see a doctor or gynecologist?

After I had my IUD removed, I bled for 4 days. Then my cycle really started. On day 28 I got my period (after the IUD was removed). Even though I was already on my period right before that. So I think you won't get your period yet. But maybe a bit later.
