Hi everyone,

I need to get this off my chest. Even though I realize many couples have been trying for longer, we started trying for our first little one in May. My cycle is 29 days long and I use ovulation tests to track it. We’ve tried twice, but no result yet. I immediately start worrying because I had some issues in the past (e.g., chlamydia...).

I hope it works out naturally... Even though it’s only the second time, I’m already feeling quite anxious about it.

Love,

Take a deep breath, think about a year from now. Put those tests aside and enjoy the moment. You’ve only just stopped the pill. If you have sex 2-3 times a week, you have the best chance of a healthy pregnancy, assuming everything works as it should.

@anoniem: the spiral hasn't been out for long indeed... I should indeed enjoy it more and let it come to me... But if you really want it, it's sometimes hard ????

Everyone wants it to happen in one go. For some, that’s exactly what happens, and for others, it doesn’t. I’m one of those people—I can’t wait long enough. I’ve been pregnant four times in a row, with two miscarriages and one preterm birth at 19 weeks.
Afterward, you’d rather it took a bit longer than happening so quickly and going wrong.
Try to distract yourself and not get too caught up in it, otherwise it might work against you.
