Getting pregnant

My boyfriend and I stopped the pill back in early March. My question is: how long did it take you to get pregnant?

    Hi Yana.
    My first son came right away after one month of trying.
    With my second son, it took 10 months.

    Wishing you lots of luck. And try not to overthink it in your head. That seems to help.

    We had been looking forward to it for 7 years. At 6.5 years, I had a laparoscopy, and half a year later I got pregnant spontaneously.

    There's really nothing to say about that. On average, it's one year; some get pregnant right away, while others take years, unfortunately.

    My pregnancies.

    1 3 months
    2 1 month
    3 14 months, miscarriage
    4 5 months, miscarriage
    5 got pregnant again right after the miscarriage
    6 2 months
    7 2 months.

    For me, it took four rounds. I know I got very lucky because for most people it doesn't happen that quickly ... If you've been reading along on the forum for a while, you'll have read many other stories, so I realize I should count myself lucky .

    When I told my gynecologist that I wanted kids, she said it's very normal to try for up to a year. If I wasn't pregnant after a year, I could come in for tests. So indeed, as you can read above, it can take up to a year, or even longer.

    Hope you get pregnant soon! I wish it so much for everyone who wants a child!

    My 5th pregnancy was unfortunately also a miscarriage. Forgot to mention that.

    Maybe one more tip: use evening primrose oil in the first half of your cycle. I took it for 2 weeks from Kruidvat. After that, it wasn't needed anymore Good luck! Hopefully with a special result!

    With the first and second pregnancies, I got pregnant 3 months after stopping the pill.
    And with the third pregnancy, I got pregnant right away, but I had already stopped taking the pill 8 months earlier. We continued using condoms until we were ready.

    Both pregnancies were successful right away the first time... but every situation is different, so you won't get much out of our answers. I wish you lots of success and hopefully a positive test soon

    Every 4 months. The 2nd and 4th were miscarriages.

    Took me 20 months for this. We were just about to start the medical rollercoaster, but then it turned out I got pregnant naturally. Now almost 15 weeks pregnant.
