Noortje, Kaatje, or Guusje

It’s definitely not my style, but I think Noortje is the prettiest. If you take away the diminutive part, it becomes Noor, which still sounds lovely. I don’t think Kaat is ugly either, but Kaatje feels a bit too much to me. Guusje feels more like a boy’s name to me.

Why did you go with Vanachter? Because I think this combination sounds nice, and it looks nice written together too: Abel and Nore.

If I had to choose with -je, then Guusje.
I know several girls who are called that. By the way, I don't know any boys with that name.
But I'm also not a fan of -je names.
That's why I agree with Sara; Abel and Noor/Nore sound beautiful.

In Belgium, there's a show called "Kaatje en Kameradje." So I wouldn't go with Kaatje. Anyway, nothing about it. Give the child a grown-up name, please. I think Noor is the cutest among Noor/Kaat/Guus. It really matches my daughter's name. And you say, as long as your girl is little. It's the same here. But calling a 40-year-old Noortje just seems ridiculous to me.

Maybe Nore or Noor instead of Noortje?
