Can Elko be a girl's name?

    It's possible, but I think Elke fits better. What do you think of Aiko?

    When I saw it listed, I thought it sounded like a boy's name. I'd change it to Elke or Elka.

    Elko; I was also thinking of a boy.
    But boy or girl; I don't find it a nice name.

    I immediately associate it with a boy's name because of Eelco. It wouldn't be my choice, I think it would cause too much confusion. Then go with one of the earlier suggestions like Elke or Jelka.
